The map size can be changed in the file Maps.xml. I'd have to guess right now, but the more appropriate distance is likely about 35-40 to get several opponents to actually show up on the map, because that separation distance is for EVERY civilization from not only you, but from each other also. Then because the closest Civ is set to only be something like 12 or so away, I changed that to 54. With that size, you will likely never explore the entire map with units. ![]()
